A Few Things to Know Before You Visit
It’s a working farm. That’s part of the fun.
Can we just walk through the gardens?+
Yes. Please stay on established paths and respect any areas marked closed. No fee required but all donations and proceeds from sales go towards materials and weeding. There are honor boxes, Venmo and a self serve kiosk in the farm stand.
Can we pick flowers and vegetables?+
Yes, when U-Pick is open through November. Come in through the main gate and grab a pair of clippers and a cup. Clean your stems and you'd be surprised how much you can fit in a cup but keep it within reason. 20 to 25 stems for $35. The only flowers that are truly off limits are roses and lilies. If you want either, please contact Carol and she will cut them for you. There is a basket for vegetables, and those are by donation. Next season 2027 we will have a scale for you to better gauge what to pay.
Can we bring our dog?+
We have three Frenchies; Lolly, Frankie and Alfie. They are wonderful with people but they are not great with other dogs. If you want to bring your service dog with you, please contact Carol ahead of time so she can sequester the Frenchies. Our Frenchies must stay within the fenced farm.
Are children welcome?+
Absolutely. Please keep children with you and supervise them closely around plants, tools, water and working farm areas.
Is this a working farm?+
Very much so. Expect uneven ground, dirt, bees, hoses, wheelbarrows and people actually working. Please wear shoes that make sense for a farm.
Come as you are. Leave it as you found it.
We open our farm because we genuinely enjoy sharing it.
Wander. Ask questions if you see us. Smell things. Look closely. Sit for a minute. Buy something if you’d like to.
Mostly, just enjoy being here.
