Description
July 20th and 27th are our first scheduled Meadow Bouquet workshops. These Saturday morning workshops go from 10 to Noon. By midsummer, our wild range of perennials such as pee-gee hydrangeas, lavender, roses, nine-bark, and a host of lovely annuals such as sweet peas are beginning to peak. Participants will be oriented to the abundance of flowers available on the farm and then You-Pick their choice of flowers and then learn to combine these beauties in meadow-style arrangements using a beautiful compote vessel. Participants will learn flower arranging design principles including how to use shape, length, color and scent from florists such as Cindy Morgan, Lisa Rose and Carol Wetzel. Participants will take home their compote vase and bouquet and can use those same flowers to dry for future use. As classes fill up we will add more into the month of August. Yes, you can call or email carol to arrange for a private workshop. Carol can be reached at carol@littlefarm.life or call her cell at 360-776-9356.
